Commissioner Josh Rogers recognized UT Extension Agent Hannah Goodson at the May 26 Bradley County Commission work session. Goodson announced she has new responsibilities as County Director and Agricultural and Natural Resources Agent for Bradley County.
Goodson told commissioners that the Bradley County Cannery will be open June 9, 2026, through Oct. 31, 2026. She said Family and Consumer Sciences Agent Abby Ramsey will offer cannery classes at the facility. The announcement is a program update rather than a county action; no vote or formal commitment of county funds was recorded during the work session.
County residents who use the cannery or who want information on classes should contact the UT Extension office; the commission placed no additional agenda action related to the cannery at the May 26 meeting.
