Zoning board grants one-month continuance in Burns flood-repair variance

Gary Brown moved for a one-month continuance to allow the parties to consult with the township. "A motion for a 1 month continuance on this application," Brown said. The motion was seconded on the record and the board approved the continuance. The Burns matter is scheduled for the board's November 26 meeting at 7:00 p.m.
The chair told the audience the continuance will give the owner time to meet with township staff and that any subsequent filings will be dealt with at the continued hearing. No testimony on the merits was taken at this meeting; the board confirmed the next date so interested parties can plan to attend.
