Commissioner (speaker 7) moved to recommend approval, saying the proposal is generally consistent with the comprehensive plan and compatible with adjacent uses. Staff noted the item is a single-lot subdivision for Phase 3 and that the developer will be required to enter a subdivision agreement and complete public improvements, including work to Schram Road, before final City Council action.
Chair (speaker 1) and other commissioners said they were comfortable proceeding without the applicant in attendance because the staff report contained only a small number of routine recommendations. The clerk (speaker 2) recorded a 6-0 vote to recommend approval.
The commission’s recommendation will go to City Council, where the contingencies must be resolved and any required agreements finalized before plat acceptance.
