Approved: The commission approved a request for termination of applicability for the Andrade property in Onset after applicants’ representative Brian Grady described a duplex to be built on a slab in land subject to coastal storm flowage; the commission accepted staff’s recommendation and recorded a roll-call approval.
Denied: The commission voted to deny the long-pending Virginia Green Turner application because it lacked a DEP file number and had seen no activity since it first appeared on the agenda in August.
Continued or tabled: Several matters were continued to Feb. 18 — including the West Boulevard sidewalk NOI and the Broderick/Broderick easement/deck matter — to allow applicants to provide missing documentation, legal opinions, or alternatives to proposed materials. River Hawk and other site visits were continued pending improved field conditions after snow.
Bonds and certificates: The commission accepted standard order conditions and a security bond proposal for a residential subdivision (0 Pierce View) with an estimated bond of roughly $270,500, requiring proof of the posted bond before work begins and annual maintenance reporting for the stormwater system in perpetuity. The board issued a certificate of compliance for an application where all required work was done and continued older orders that require verification of dry wells.
Conservation restriction: The commission signed the Riverwalk conservation restriction and acknowledged CPC funding that will support the purchase; the select board and state had already signed off.
What’s next: The commission’s calendar is heavy: multiple hearings were continued to Feb. 18 and March 18 for revised filings and additional technical or legal information.
