Kaylee Vierra told commissioners she has worked for 13 years at Skillz as a bookkeeper and has done outreach and accessibility monitoring (CAM training) that includes checking polling‑place accessibility and automated mark machine use. Commissioners said her background and willingness to participate in outreach events (including River Day and Pride) made her a good candidate.
Chair Brian Gallagher moved to accept Vierra’s appointment and the motion was seconded; the commission approved the recommendation by voice vote and agreed to forward it to the select board for formal appointment. The commission meets the fourth Monday of every month, and members discussed staggering term renewals to avoid a large number of simultaneous reappointments.
Vierra said she is available for the commission’s meeting schedule and for outreach activities; the commission agreed to propose her name to the select board.
