Planning Commission forwards Haley plat to County Commissioners; lot in city ETJ

The Davison County Planning Commission on Jan. 7 recommended that the County Commissioners approve a plat by Michael and Jean Haley for Lot 3 of Haley Addition, located in Government Lot 4 of the NW1/4 of Section 3, T103N, R60W.
Deputy Director Karen Wegleitner said the applicants were not present and that the lot is inside the city extraterritorial jurisdiction (ETJ) so it will also proceed through city review. She noted the plat shows a 20-foot private access easement for ingress and egress to Lot 3. The commission favored forwarding the plat to the County Commissioners for final action.
Ray Gosmire moved to recommend approval; Lewis Bainbridge seconded. The roll-call vote was unanimous among present members and the motion carried.
Next steps: the County Commissioners and the adjacent city will each review the plat under their procedures.
