Planning commission approves McMillan minor subdivision at 804 Station Street

The South Fayette Township Planning Commission on March 27 approved preliminary and final minor subdivision application S022025 (McMillan Subdivision) for 804 Station Street, a parcel zoned R-4, to divide one lot into two.
Jason Polovich reviewed the file and staff's March 10 review letter, saying the applicant submitted revised plans that "did address all of our items." He also noted an Allegheny County review letter dated March 14 raised a single comment about the width of a sanitary easement and that the applicant revised the plan to satisfy that comment. Polovich said the proposed lots met zoning requirements for frontage and that lot coverage was well under the 35% maximum: "They weren't anywhere near the 35% maximum. I believe they were 8% under," he said.
A committee member moved to approve S022025 as the preliminary and final minor subdivision application; the motion was seconded and approved by voice vote. The approval authorizes the subdivision of the occupied lot to create one additional vacant lot; no conditions or special recommendations were recorded at the meeting.
The commission closed the item and proceeded to other business.
