The Sheboygan County Property Committee on May 19 unanimously approved Building Services’ vehicle inventory and met in closed session to consider negotiation strategy on the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay, Sheboygan Campus ancillary building lease or sale, returning to open session later in the meeting.
The committee convened at 5:00 p.m. in the County Courthouse Building Services Conference Room with Chairperson Jon Kuhlow and members Supervisors Brian Smith (Vice Chair), Stephanie Arndt (Secretary), Kurt Jensen and Drew Phillips present. County staff in attendance included Building Services Director Kevin Dulmes and other county officials.
Committee business opened with a motion by Supervisor Kurt Jensen, seconded by Supervisor Brian Smith, to approve corrected minutes of the May 5, 2026 meeting (the correction updates the record of the committee’s Secretary). The motion carried 5-0.
During the Director’s update, Supervisor Drew Phillips moved, and Supervisor Kurt Jensen seconded, that the committee go into closed session "pursuant to consideration of strategy in negotiating University of Wisconsin - Green Bay, Sheboygan Campus ancillary building lease/sale." The committee took a roll call vote (Supervisors Smith, Jensen, Phillips, Arndt and Kuhlow) and the motion carried; the meeting entered closed session at 5:05 p.m. The committee returned to open session at 5:49 p.m. on a motion by Supervisor Drew Phillips, seconded by Supervisor Stephanie Arndt, again passing on a roll call vote. No substantive details from the closed session were disclosed in the open minutes.
After returning to open session, Building Services Director Kevin Dulmes presented the department’s vehicle inventory. Supervisor Drew Phillips moved to approve the inventory as presented; Supervisor Kurt Jensen seconded and the motion carried 5-0.
The minutes also record that vouchers were held until the next meeting and that there were no items of correspondence or requests to approve attendance at other meetings. The committee set its next meeting for June 2, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. in County Administration Building Room 302 and adjourned at 5:52 p.m. on a motion by Supervisor Stephanie Arndt, seconded by Supervisor Kurt Jensen (vote 5-0).
