Polovich said the message requested that the applicant withdraw the conditional-use application; he paraphrased the email, saying, "At this time, we would like to respectfully withdraw our application for the Hickory Grama townhouse development." The consultant's name and the email were recorded in the meeting materials.
A committee member moved to accept the applicant's withdrawal and a second was recorded. The commission voted by voice and the motion carried.
The withdrawal removes the pending conditional-use review for the parcels identified on the agenda (listed as parcels 323F1323 B10 and 323B9) and ends the commission's formal consideration of that application at this time. The original submission described a residential townhouse development with associated stormwater management, utility coordination and landscaping; specifics in the application materials were not discussed in detail at the meeting.
The commission then moved on to other new business.
