The Huntertown Town Council approved two contractor pay applications: pay application No. 9 to Mason Engineering for completed wastewater treatment work in the amount of $35,847.33, and the first pay application for the CCMG project in Hunter Park for $20,713.80 covering initial utility investigation.
Jim Breckler of Engineering Resources presented the Mason application and said the contractor fulfilled obligations, including a late‑added HMI screen that extended the schedule. "Payout is in the amount of $35,847.33," Breckler said. The council moved and approved the payment.
Steven Cardenas, also with Engineering Resources, described the first pay application for the CCMG project at Hunter Park as covering potholing and utility investigation work and said crews plan to begin active construction in early July. "This is the first pay application... They'll be starting real construction here at the beginning of July," Cardenas said. The council approved the $20,713.80 payment for the work completed to date.
Both approvals were processed by motion and roll call at the meeting; staff indicated routine project oversight will continue as construction progresses.
