"They are part of a larger utility extension project that the utility firm has approved with the 3 homeowners to the West," the staff member said, adding the town will extend service with the understanding that the eastern property will annex when feasible.
A council member moved to approve the resolution and the motion carried on a recorded vote. Staff said the connection approval allows the utility work to proceed this summer and that annexation paperwork will follow the project timeline.
