The Brighton Parks & Recreation Advisory Board voted unanimously April 1 to approve meeting minutes and to fill three open seats following interviews.
Keith Mutz moved to approve the March 4, 2026, meeting minutes; Joe Arp seconded and the motion passed 5–0. Later in the meeting the board interviewed three candidates for two at-large seats and one alternate position: Jeremy Hammen, Jan Pawlowski and Jaime Archuleta. Stephanie Brown moved to appoint Hammen and Pawlowski to the two at-large seats and Archuleta to the alternate seat; Keith Mutz seconded. The motion passed 5–0.
The board recorded the approvals and appointments in the meeting minutes. The appointments were advanced by the board at that meeting; the minutes do not specify additional council confirmation steps or effective dates.
Meeting notes indicate a separate motion to approve the Bike Brighton subcommittee minutes also passed 5–0 during the same meeting.
