The commission invited George and Lynn to speak; George Harris described roof deterioration and interior repairs and said the owners plan temporary patching before replacing the roof and completing renovations over the coming months. He said they were considering the working name “Country Cafe.”
Commissioner Kirkpatrick moved to place the agreement on public display and Commissioner Karnes seconded; the motion passed on a unanimous roll-call vote. The agreement will be available for public review per the city’s display rules, and staff will return with any public comments and final documentation.
