Director Gary Holtzmann presented the Natural Resources Conservation Service monthly report and related materials at the Warren Soil & Water Conservation District meeting on March 10, 2026.
Holtzmann circulated a Regenerative Pilot Program flyer and the Soil and Water Coordinator's report for information and told the board that annual spot checks will need to be completed in April for those participating or interested. He also updated the board on staff matters: the district has a vacant position under recruitment and staff plan to attend the county's People's Academy, a 10-week training scheduled for April and May. Holtzmann said staff attended a COMPASS Project facilitation discussion on March 6, 2026.
Holtzmann additionally reported that the Division awarded a second allocation in the AgWrap program; the minutes record the allocation but do not provide further financial or procedural details. No formal board action was taken on these informational items during the meeting.
The board discussed these items but took no votes beyond routine approvals earlier in the agenda. Next regular meeting is April 14, 2026, at 7:30 p.m.
