Counsel also warned about tightened rules governing board members' use of social media in discussing district matters and described a process to update the board's sunshine ordinance. He recommended that counsel and the general manager prepare draft revisions for the board's February meeting and review any necessary changes to the district's regular meeting schedule or implementation steps.
The board thanked counsel for the overview and asked staff to begin drafting proposed ordinance changes for review at the February meeting.
