Cabell County Commission unanimously approves FY 2016–2017 E-911 and Home Confinement budgets

At a July 8, 2016 special meeting, the Cabell County Commission unanimously approved the fiscal year 2016–2017 budgets for the county E-911 emergency dispatch system and the Home Confinement program, and approved two purchase orders and pay jackets. Motions were made by Commissioner Nancy Cartmill and seconded by Commissioner Robert L. Bailey.
At a special meeting July 8, 2016, the Cabell County Commission approved the fiscal year 2016–2017 budgets for the county E-911 emergency dispatch system and the Home Confinement program. Commissioner Nancy Cartmill moved each budget approval and Commissioner Robert L. Bailey seconded; the motions passed unanimously.
The commission also adopted the meeting agenda and approved purchase orders #16-72966 and #16-73046 and pay jackets on unanimous motions by Cartmill, seconded by Bailey. President Anne Yon called the meeting to order at 10:00 a.m.; County Attorney William Watson and County Administrator Beth Thompson were present. The special meeting was adjourned at 10:12 a.m.
The E-911 budget will fund the county’s emergency dispatch services for FY 2016–2017; the Home Confinement budget covers the county’s supervised confinement program for the same fiscal year.
