Travis Crowder, chief executive officer, emphasized that the clubs do not turn children away for lack of ability to pay and described intensive transportation needs: the Dayton site alone requires multiple vans and buses to transport more than 180 children after school.
Board members and district staff discussed the district's limited bus-driver capacity and possibilities for coordinated stops or grant-funded transportation support. No formal action was taken; staff and club leaders said they would continue to explore operational partnerships and grant opportunities.
