The county’s share will cover equipment and staffing required to run the vehicle.
Commissioner Joshua Ellerbe moved to approve the proposal and Commissioner Lawrence Gatewood seconded; the motion carried. The Board did not provide a detailed contract or timeline in the public discussion; staff will follow up with implementation details and budgeting steps.
The resolution authorizes the county to proceed with the proposal as described at the meeting; specific operating agreements, reimbursement schedules and oversight responsibilities will be negotiated and documented by county staff and Atrium Health.
