Council approves Sunrise Meadows final plat for 28-lot subdivision

The Uniontown City Council voted May 11 to approve Resolution 1875, granting final-plat approval for Sunrise Meadows, a proposed 28-lot subdivision south of Roosevelt Avenue and east of Sunrise Boulevard.
City staff told council that the preliminary plat (approved by Ordinance 27-88 on Oct. 28, 2024) required certain infrastructure and conditions; staff reported all those items have been satisfied, that streets, sidewalks, utilities and frontage improvements were installed and accepted by the city engineer, and that performance and maintenance bonds have been posted. Staff recommended approval of the final plat map and associated certificates under Title 17.
Council moved, seconded and approved Resolution 1875 by voice vote in open session. Staff said approval allows recordation of the final plat and confirms the developer has met the conditions of the city’s preliminary approval.
