Otsego council approves consent agenda and routine motions unanimously

Councilmember Ryan Dunlap moved to approve the agenda as written; Councilmember Corey Tanner seconded and the motion carried 5-0. Later the council approved the consent agenda, which bundled multiple routine administrative and contractual items.
Items listed on the consent agenda included approval of the claims list; approval of the April 27, 2026 meeting minutes; special compensation for April 2026; Pay Application #19 for the Wellhouse 4 Treatment Improvements Project; Pay Application #2 for the South-Central Wellfield Development Phase 1A Project; approval to hire an IT Support Specialist; adoption of Resolution 2026-38 accepting a donation from the Bank of Elk River; adoption of Resolution 2026-39 approving a median encroachment and maintenance agreement; and approval of a job description and authorization to recruit for a Parks Supervisor position.
The motions to approve the agenda and the consent agenda were recorded as carried by roll call with all five council members voting in favor: Mayor Jessica Stockamp and Councilmembers Ryan Dunlap, Tina Goede, Michelle Lund, and Corey Tanner. The meeting adjourned at 7:29 PM after a unanimous motion to adjourn by Councilmember Tina Goede and a second by Councilmember Michelle Lund.
