County documents show latest pay applications for major Dallas County construction projects

Dallas County received a set of construction progress reports and certified pay applications in the meeting packet that document February work on three major county projects.
Turner Construction’s package for the Evidence Storage & Firing Range includes Project Summary materials, progress photos and Application for Payment No. 12 certified by Farnsworth Group on March 2, 2026, requesting $914,255.17. The submission itemizes line‑level progress (masonry, steel, site work and equipment allowances), notes remaining contingency and shows schedule milestones.
A separate Turner submission for the County Courthouse Renovation certified Application for Payment No. 11 for $268,047.83 for work on the administration/courthouse project. The courthouse packet includes subcontractor applications and partial waivers from Jensen Builders, Seedorff Masonry, Northwest Steel, Modern Piping and Tjaden Electric, and a Farnsworth certification of approved invoices.
Turner’s pay application package for the Secondary Roads administration addition and garage (Application No. 15) requests $452,798.05 and includes subcontractor pay applications and partial waivers from Keystone Construction, Tri‑City Electric, Pleva Plumbing & Heating and others. The secondary‑roads project summary notes mechanical start‑up, owner furniture installations and an Owner Occupancy milestone this spring for portions of the project.
The materials in the packet are construction administration documents: certified applications for payment, waiver and release of lien forms, AIA payment certificates, continuation and subcontractor detail sheets. County staff indicated the documents were provided as evidence for the board to receive and file and to authorize payment processing according to typical capital project procedures.
