Town Board approves water agreement, compensation item and summer hires; local law tabled

The North Greenbush Town Board took several formal actions on July 11. Supervisor Bott moved to table Resolution 2024-07-66 (a proposed Local Law #4 of 2024 to extend term lengths for certain elected positions from two to four years); the motion was seconded by Councilwoman Merola and carried unanimously among members present.
The board then approved three items: Resolution 2024-07-67, authorizing the execution of an Out of District User Water Agreement (motion by Supervisor Bott, seconded by Councilwoman Sabo); Resolution 2024-07-68 concerning Board of Assessment Review compensation (motion by Councilwoman Hoffman, seconded by Councilwoman Sabo); and added Resolution 2024-07-69 appointing summer staff and lifeguards (motion by Councilwoman Sabo, seconded by Supervisor Bott). All votes were recorded as aye by the board members present; one member, Councilman Gordon, was absent for the meeting.
