County roadwork on Big Bend and multi-month Elm culvert closure to affect Webster Groves traffic

Separately, the presenter warned that Elm at Kirkham will be closed for culvert replacement for approximately five to six months. Saint Louis County must approve proposed detour routing; members noted the corridor carries heavy traffic volumes and discussed the possibility that detour routing could direct traffic outside Webster Groves.
Commissioners were advised to monitor county approvals and detour planning; no formal votes or county approvals were recorded during this meeting.
