The Carroll County Board of Commissioners on March 20 approved five budget amendments during a 12:30 p.m. meeting at the Carroll County Annex as it prepared for a Delegation budget meeting scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
Clerk Gene Chandler moved to approve the list of amendment requests; Chairman Charles McGee seconded. The motion passed on a recorded 2-0 vote, approving all five changes.
The amendments approved were: an increase to the IT software budget to $288,189; addition of an IT overtime line funded with $2,000; addition of a County Facilities telephone line funded with $550; a revision in the Sheriff’s Department budget reducing the Town Agreement expense line to $46,000 and increasing the Albany Agreement revenue line to $63,540; and an increase in the Finance department’s Contracted Services line to $100,000.
