The Lamont Public Utility District board voted to retain its current officers for 2026, keeping Timoteo Prado as President and Jesus Alonso as Vice‑President. The decision was approved unanimously, 5-0.
Earlier in the meeting Director Sanchez moved to approve the consent calendar; Vice‑President Jesus Alonso seconded and the board approved the consent calendar 5-0. Staff noted there were no Will Serve letters to report and General Manager Scott Staylan Taylor said the boardroom remodel should be completed in time for the February meeting.
District Counsel Doug Gosling reported no legal updates. The meeting later proceeded to regular agenda items and a closed session on potential litigation; the public report after closed session stated there was no reportable action.
