Select Board announces GLF Developments chosen for 187 Depot Street affordable housing project

The Dennis Select Board announced that, in an executive session on May 21, 2024, it unanimously voted to award the development and management of the VIC Hall affordable housing project at 187 Depot Street to GLF Developments LLC.
Chair (S1) told the meeting that GLF has been contacted and that the developer has accepted the award. The board said formal approvals and legal reviews remain, and GLF will be invited to a future meeting to present designs and next steps. Bob Semlock of the Affordable Housing Trust praised the decision, calling it a significant step after more than a decade of effort.
The board did not vote on contract language or give final project approvals at the public meeting; members said that additional details, legal review and future public presentations will be scheduled. The announcement followed the board’s earlier executive-session decision to select a developer and move the project forward to subsequent public-review steps.
