Royal Farms requests six-month extension for permit as DEP sewer module awaits approval

At the June 3 Lower Pottsgrove Township meeting Manager Edward C. Wagner reported that Zoning Hearing Application 2024-03 for Royal Farms at 298 Armand Hammer Boulevard requests a six-month extension of building permits and a variance to Section 250-231. Wagner said the extension is sought because the final DEP sewer module — the only outstanding permit — was submitted at the end of April and remains pending.
Wagner said site plans and agreements are recorded and a tentative pre-construction meeting is scheduled, but without the DEP sewer module the applicant asked the township for an extension so existing permits would not expire. The township noted this extension request and left the decision to the Zoning Hearing Board.
