Lanett to align roadside debris pickup with household garbage schedule, official says

Bo Lauderdale, Street Department Head, said the City of Lanett will change its roadside debris pickup routine to follow the same schedule used for household garbage collection, which is currently performed by C&C Sanitation. "Communication will be sent to customers," he said.
Mayor Jamie Heard recognized Lauderdale and opened the item as part of the June 3 work session at Lanett City Hall. City officials described the change as an operational alignment intended to streamline collection routes and make pickup timing consistent for residents.
Council members did not record a formal vote on the procedure during the work session; staff said they would proceed with customer notifications. The meeting adjourned at 5:54 P.M.
