Lower Pottsgrove Authority authorizes public bid for Hilltop Road sewer main replacement

Engineer Fred Ebert told the Authority he had coordinated with Solicitor Stephen Kalis and incorporated all comments into the bid documents. The board authorized placing the project on PennBid this week, with the stated goal of awarding the successful bidder at the Authority’s July meeting.
Joe McGeehan moved to advertise the project and Mark Loshnowsky seconded; the motion passed unanimously, 3-0, at the time it was taken. The Authority recorded that the advertisement will follow the solicitor’s and engineer’s review and that contract award timing targets the July meeting.
The motion to advertise the Hilltop Road project was the principal formal action on infrastructure taken at the meeting. No contingency funding, engineer estimate, or construction schedule beyond the July award target was provided during the discussion.
