Twin Lakes board approves $3.12 million in vouchers, licenses and short-term rental permits in routine Jan. 19 meeting

The Village of Twin Lakes Board on Jan. 19 approved claims and routine business, including $3,121,101.80 in voucher payments, minutes approvals, a contingent liquor license, and two short-term rental permits.
Trustee Aaron Karow moved and Trustee Kevin Fitzgerald seconded approval of Corporate Checking vouchers (check ranges 37385-37462, 927-957, 1644-1660) totaling $3,121,101.80; the motion carried 4-0. The board also approved the Dec. 15, 2025 regular meeting minutes and voted to amend the Nov. 17, 2025 minutes to remove a phrase that had appeared in public comments; both motions recorded 4-0 votes.
On licensing, the board approved an original Class A liquor license and a Class A fermented malt beverage license for Sarab Investments LLC d/b/a Aman’s Beer and Wine at 406 N. Lake Ave., contingent on payment of the outstanding invoice and on the agent, Amandip Singh Gill, acquiring the premises. That motion passed 4-0.
The board approved two short-term rental applications: 801 Hickory Road (owner Patricia Fitzgerald) and 509 Indian Point Road (owners Anthony and Pamela Lindemann and Kathleen Hoenselaar; property manager Patrick Liberg). Trustee Aaron Karow moved and Trustee Kevin Fitzgerald seconded both motions; both passed 4-0.
Trustee Aaron Karow reported building-permit activity for December 2025: 18 permits, a valuation of $1,256,574 and fees collected of $7,821.60. Trustee Ken Perl reported December code-enforcement numbers: seven active cases and two closed cases. The meeting adjourned at 7:08 p.m. after a Karow/Fitzgerald motion that carried 4-0.
