Dirckx outlined early plans for the anniversary year, including a forthcoming grant‑funded book authored by Marsha Brakke and a program called “150 Ways to Celebrate” that will feature events, commemorative items, Arts Council projects, apparel and a community jamboree. The committee said planning has been underway since at least 2023.
