The Ballston Green Community Committee on Jan. 6 assigned members a slate of follow-up tasks and confirmed details for upcoming spring classes and a community survey. Nick Sinnenberg was asked to compile a list of recently passed environmental bills; Silver Gudbrandsen will contact town hall about hosting a collection drop point; and Jessie was asked to confirm availability of free community box options and to finalize spring course submittals.
Jessie confirmed the brochure for spring classes will be distributed imminently and that registration opens Monday, Jan. 12. Committee members discussed whether to offer courses in collaboration with the public library and asked Sara Hill to update the draft survey based on committee feedback and to produce a new survey form for the February course offering.
The committee reviewed options for hosting a public survey and noted that completed surveys would need to be run through town hall before posting. Members also noted the town no longer uses SurveyMonkey; the minutes say the town does maintain an account with Mailchimp for communications.
The committee set its next meeting for Feb. 3, 7–8:15 p.m., and listed agenda items including grant review and fall course planning. The minutes were submitted by Silver Gudbrandsen.
