The Town of Jackson board unanimously approved the meeting agenda, the December meeting minutes and the month's bills at a regular meeting held Jan. 11, 2021, at the Jackson Fire Department Hall.
David Guillory, a board member, moved to approve the agenda and Don Havard seconded; the motion passed with all members voting in favor. Later in the meeting Don Havard moved to approve the December minutes, seconded by William Free; that motion also passed unanimously. Rafe Stewart reported that he and Don Havard had reviewed the monthly bills and saw no issues; a motion to approve the bills, moved by Mike Harrell and seconded by Don Havard, passed unanimously.
The board listed all members present for roll call: Mike Harrell, Rafe Stewart, David Guillory, Don Havard and William Free, establishing quorum for the evening. Mayor James “Jimmy” Norsworthy III led the prayer and pledge at the start of the meeting. The minutes close with signatures from Lanna M. Matthews, secretary-treasurer, and James M. Norsworthy III, mayor, certifying the record.
