"By November 7th we had a signed consent judgment where the house was required to be put up for sale," Chief Franks said, adding that detectives worked in cooperation with North Carolina Alcohol Law Enforcement and that staff had been informed an offer had been submitted.
Chief Franks said the address has a history of multiple investigations and characterized the outcome as an attempt to improve neighborhood quality of life. Council members expressed appreciation for the police work and asked no additional substantive questions on the matter during the report.
