NOLA Public Schools honors student leaders at 'Portrait of a Graduate' awards

Among those named were Ashai Dorsey, Kayla Giles, Tyrion Green, Chase Green, Raisine Porter, Brittany Dross, Christopher Rodriguez and Annayia Hughes.
The board invited students and families forward for photographs after the roll call of names. Fulmore thanked families and school staff for their support, saying the recognitions are a reminder of the character traits the district seeks to cultivate.
The presentation also included a note that nominees span middle and high school grade levels and that honorees were nominated by staff at their schools for consistently exemplifying one or more Portrait attributes. The program, Fulmore said, is an annual reminder of the district's priorities for student readiness.
The recognition segment concluded with applause and a short photo period; no board votes or formal actions were reported during the awards presentation.
