Council packet lists Kendrick's Construction as low bidder for Kraton Park Phase 2 parking-lot work

City staff told the council that bids for Kraton Park Phase 2 parking-lot and sidewalk improvements were opened and Kendrick's Construction was the low bidder.
Assistant City Administrator J. Dau said the resolution and all documentation related to the contract award are included in next week's council packet. He said the project specifies a pervious surface for the parking lot and that the RFP establishes a completion deadline of July 31.
A councilmember asked where the new sidewalk would connect relative to the Living History Park; engineering staff said the sidewalk will extend from the new parking lot through Kraton Park to the corner of West Springrove and Lake Avenue to improve pedestrian access to the Living History Park.
Staff indicated the item will return for formal action at the upcoming council meeting where the resolution and contract award will be available to the public in the packet.
