Farmington updates water, sewer and planning projects; meter‑replacement program underway

The department identified a suspect inflow area east of Wood Drive on County Road 41 that appears to take on extra water during wet weather and said investigatory work will be done.
The Town Clerk and staff described a water‑meter replacement program underway: crews are distributing door knockers to schedule roughly 10–15 minute installs of new cellular meters (the record states these are not 'smart meters'); the new devices will allow residents to monitor usage and receive leak alerts. Residents were asked to respond when staff contact them.
On planning and development, staff said an incentive‑zoning preliminary subdivision plat and site plan were submitted for review; the Paradel Meadow (40‑lot single‑family) preliminary plat received a determination of non‑significance from the planning board and will proceed with conditions.
