The Lower Pottsgrove Township Parks and Recreation Board on Oct. 27 approved its August 2025 meeting minutes, received a multi-month maintenance report from staff and voted to adjourn and skip the November meeting.
Brian Ward moved to approve the August 2025 meeting minutes; Thomas C. Troutman seconded and the board recorded a 3-0 vote in favor. Administrative Assistant Samantha Cronrath provided the staff report, detailing August and September public-works tasks: pothole patching across township roads, removal of dead ash trees, sinkhole repair at 855 Brookside Road, grass cutting at parks and open spaces, brush hogging at fields, storm-drain cleaning, planting six trees at Sanatoga Park and field maintenance at Gerald Richards Park.
The board later approved a motion to close the Oct. 27 meeting; the motion, moved by Ward and seconded by Troutman, passed 3-0. The board voted to skip the November meeting because it fell on the week of Thanksgiving and scheduled the next regular meeting for Monday, Jan. 26, 2026 at 6:30 p.m.
What’s next: Staff will return with updates on planned events, grants and park projects at the January meeting.
