Staff noted the fire district is withdrawing a competing sign request, which may remove a conflict about multiple electronic message signs in close proximity. For the heritage center, staff said the proposed restaurant will occupy a small area within a four‑story office building and that parking availability will be the primary concern the board will review.
The police chief is expected to appear on Nov. 19 to present the message sign request, and staff said application materials for both items will appear on the meeting agenda packet prior to that hearing.
