Pequannock council adopts consent resolutions including $131,400 deduction to Route 23 sewer contract

The Pequannock Township Council adopted a consent‑agenda bundle of resolutions that included financial housekeeping, vehicle/equipment purchases and a recommended change order on the Route 23 sanitary sewer project.

Clerk Miss Marsh read resolutions R‑2024‑125 through R‑2024‑140, which covered custodial changes for petty‑cash funds (court, clerk, police), insertion of a forestry grant into the 2024 budget, authorizations to purchase several vehicles and grounds equipment through cooperative purchasing agreements, and approval of Change Order No. 3 for the Route 23 sanitary sewer project.

On the Route 23 project, staff and the project engineer recommended Change Order No. 3, which the packet described as a net deduction of $131,400. The change order adjusts interim completion from May 2 to August 31 and final completion to December 31; the project remains gravity‑flow and, according to staff, does not require a pump station.

A motion to adopt resolutions R‑224125 through R‑224140 was made and seconded; the roll call vote recorded Mr. Dy, Councilwoman Florence Lynch, Mr. Cole and Mayor Herd as voting yes. The clerk recorded the items as adopted.
