During the superintendent’s update at the May 26 meeting, district leadership said the graduating class of 2026 totaled more than 3,000 students across high schools and thanked Pinnacle Bank Arena for hosting commencement ceremonies.
The superintendent outlined the district’s transparent budget-engagement schedule: a virtual presentation and an in-person budget forum on June 24 (in-person forum at 7 p.m.), and an online input window that opens June 24 and remains open into July with FAQs posted on the district site. Administrators emphasized opportunities for public input during the 2026–27 budget development process.
Staff also reminded the board that summer-school programming begins May 28 or 29 (the transcript gave both dates); the session runs through July 1, and a short late-registration window remains open.
