At the Aug. 18 meeting the Town of Brunswick Zoning Board of Appeals added several new applications to the September agenda and authorized site visits.
Greg with DMG Contracting presented an application for 1 Deerfield Drive seeking a setback variance to install a storage shed and a small picnic/sitting area near the pool; the board scheduled a public hearing for Sept. 15, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. and agreed to a site visit. The applicant said the lot is just under an acre and that fencing already exists along the property lines.
The board also scheduled 15 Berkshire Drive for the Sept. 15 meeting (6:15 p.m.). Andrew Binsky and the applicant said the previously granted rear setback relief remains and the request now includes side‑setback relief; the board agreed to inspect the site and advised the applicant to consult the county health department for septic and well questions, noting wells and septic fall under county jurisdiction, not the zoning board’s.
What happens next: Both items were added to the Sept. 15, 2025 agenda; the board will conduct site visits in advance of the public hearings and applicants should follow up with county health for WELL/SEPTIC questions.
