Town staff presented three quotes for printed calendars: Ramsey Graphic quoted 1,000 at $3,988 (spiralbound $6,530), Scott Printing offered 500 copies for $1,275 (with spiral binding as an extra charge), and Direct Printing Impressions provided alternative pricing. Committee members said previous mass mailings had been expensive and unreliable and favored a smaller print run for resident pickup.
"People weren't getting their calendars; some got four in April," Mr. Melo said, urging a compromise that would provide a durable calendar without high mailing costs. The committee approved a motion to buy 500 calendars from Scott Printing and instructed staff to aim for delivery before the end of the year.
Members also reviewed proposed 2026 meeting dates and discussed moving the November meeting to Nov. 9 to avoid Veterans Day, and possible adjustments around February because of Ash Wednesday and other scheduling conflicts. No final change to the full annual schedule was adopted that night; members asked staff to finalize dates and return with a formal amendment or resolution.
The committee asked staff to include library board meeting dates on future calendar runs if feasible and to post schedule updates to the township website.
