Dr. Zerbolio said the Anti‑Bullying Bill of Rights requires each school to complete an annual self‑assessment; scores are reported to the State Department of Education in the fall and made official by the New Jersey Department of Education in the spring. The district reported the following raw totals (maximum possible points = 78): Allen W. Roberts 76, Salt Brook School 71, New Providence Middle School 75, New Providence High School 70, and a district average of 73.
Once scores are made official by the state, district officials said they will post each school’s grade on the school and district homepages and review the results at a public Board of Education meeting, as required by the statute. No further action or remediation steps were announced at this meeting.
