Wareham panel approves past minutes, notes clerk bill and modest pay changes ahead of annual town meeting

Smith described staff-level edits: "When we were in there on Friday, he [Derek] revised the whole thing, whole format." The group cautioned that printed copies might show different colored ink and that some legal abbreviations in motion language may be skipped if unclear during the annual meeting.
On compensation items, the meeting leader noted the moderator's pay had been raised slightly and that a Finance Committee figure previously listed as $125 now appears as $150. No formal votes on those specific pay figures were recorded in the meeting minutes; they were described as changes appearing on the concept agenda.
The discussion closed with procedural guidance for reading motions at the town meeting and a reminder that the clerk will direct the order of articles. The group adjourned later in the evening after completing the agenda review.
