McKenna told the board the company expects to reduce noise once it resolves the issue and that, if CMP cannot fix the problem, it will need to take further steps to comply.
Selectman Tom (first name only in the transcript) said he had spoken with residents on Henry Hill Road and described McKenna’s update as "somewhat of ... good news," because CMP had acknowledged the issue and indicated steps to address it. The board did not take formal enforcement action at the meeting; McKenna said the town would continue to monitor CMP’s efforts to meet DEP and town requirements.
