The East Hempfield Township Board of Supervisors unanimously adopted Resolution No. 25 2025-23 honoring Elimur of Landisville for almost 47 years of service on the township Zoning Hearing Board, including decades as chairman.
Mr. Russell read the resolution, which thanked Elimur for preserving the integrity of the township zoning ordinance and for years of community service. The board voted 5–0 to enter the resolution into the township's permanent records and to provide a copy to the family.
Funeral arrangements were announced: viewing at 10 a.m. at Charles Snider Funeral Home in Lititz followed by a service at noon on Saturday. The board asked residents with ideas for additional ways to remember him to submit suggestions to township staff.
