Baseball-field lighting: The commission approved the purchase of Evolve LED lighting for High‑School Baseball Field No. 1. Staff and the parks-and-recreation committee recommended full replacement rather than piecemeal repairs; commissioners said the work addresses safety concerns and that funding can be moved inside the Parks & Recreation budget without impacting total appropriations. Commissioners discussed approaching the school district about cost sharing for a full field renovation in the future.
