At its meeting, the Huntertown Town Council took several routine actions: it approved the June 2, 2025 minutes; approved a water and sewer application for 2414 Woods Road to serve a new storage building with a water tap and sewer service; approved pay application number three for lift-station rehabilitation work performed by RG North Construction; and authorized staff to solicit quotes not to exceed $25,000 for initial inflow-and-infiltration (INI) investigations including smoke testing.
Minutes: The council corrected an agenda reference and then approved the minutes for the June 2 meeting. A motion to approve the minutes carried.
2414 Woods Road: Staff explained the application covers a water tap, sewer service and a grease interceptor for a new storage building at 2414 Woods Road; plans had received technical approval from town staff and council approved the application on a motion and voice vote.
Pay application #3 (RG North Construction): Staff recommended payment for work on lift-station rehabilitation projects (materials and electrical switch gear). The pay application amount was included in the packet; council moved to approve the payment.
INI quotes authorization: Following a presentation on inflow and infiltration, council authorized staff to seek quotes for smoke testing and manhole inventories with a not-to-exceed amount of $25,000 to begin investigations.
Recorded votes and procedure: Several items were approved on motion and voice vote. Where individual votes were recorded aloud during the meeting, members called in affirmative responses. The meeting adjourned after routine reports.
