Putra introduced himself to the council as an archaeologist and assistant curator of anthropology who serves as the NAGPRA coordinator at Lassier University. He said his family has lived in Grand Terrace since 1960 and that he aims to help the committee promote awareness of the city’s history and connect younger residents with local heritage.
Council members asked Putra to confirm his residency and his engagement with community activities; Putra said he lives in Grand Terrace and participates in local events such as the Blue Mountain Hike and trunk-or-treat activities.
